Investec Ladies Day

Investec Ladies Day 2009 was a great success. Although the sun didn’t shine, the colourful outfits lit up the racecourse!

A thrilling finish in the Investec Coronation Cup saw Ask prevail in a three way photo finish, beating Youmzain and Look Here. Michael Bell trained Sariska won The Investec Oaks by a head from Midday.

Style on The Downs produced another stunning winner in Lisa Tan, who drove away in a brand new Toyota iQ. As fashion evolves, so does the Style on The Downs event, and our 440 entrants in 2009 were the most stylish we’ve seen in the 5 year history of the competition.

Investec Ladies Day is the place to dress up in your best to see the finest fillies competing in the feature race - The Oaks. It is the day when Ladies take centre stage both on and off the course, as in our 'Style on The Downs' competition the most stylish racegoer will win a fabulous prize (2009 - 1st Prize was a Toyota iQ).

Ladies Day 2010 is on Friday, 4th June – put the date in your diary now! Tickets will go on sale in the autumn.
