UB40 - Thursday 30th July 2009

UB40 will be performing live after racing on Thursday 30th July as the grand finale of the 2009 Epsom Live! fixtures. The legendary UB40 are returning to Epsom with fond memories after performing to a packed crowd at the Racecourse in 2006. Formed in 1978, the Birmingham band found world-wide success providing the soundtrack to many peoples lives and loves with massive number one hits including, Red Red Wine, Can't Help Falling In Love and I Got You Babe. Thirty years on, 54 UK hit singles later and with over 70 million albums sold; the band is still going strong.

UB40's recently released compilation album, 'Love Songs', brings together 20 of the band's best loved tracks. The mainstream popularity of the band is evident not just by sell-out shows all over the world but also by the new album reaching No. 3 in the UK Album Chart.
